Good Morning. This is week 11 and I'm excited because now I'm getting into the 3rd month of this new fitness.
Last week (week 10) was a long week and a very exciting one. I decided to try a cycling class or a spin class. Why in the hell did I decide to do that? I had some crazy idea that it would be easy and fun. Well it was fun but it was not easy. I think I broke my tail bone. The seat is made for small butt people. No one with an ounce of fat in their ass should sit on those seats. Yes, most of the time we did not sit down, but a majority of the time I did. Mainly b/c I couldn't keep up with the class. My knees are giving me problems and it was difficult for me to do many of the routines and keep the speed of the cycle. But I stayed throughout the whole of class. I did not give up or walk out.
I got my girlfriend to go with me. She did very well in the class. But we both agreed, the seats are for the birds. The instructor said it was b/c we need to build up our muscles in the rear. UM NO! My butt muscles are stronger than before. It was the seats- I tell ya.
So I guess we all know, I'm not going back that class. I enjoyed the class; good teacher and music, nice participants, but the seat took the cake.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to March 31st. I will do my measurements then and my weigh in. I'm hoping I lost another 12lbs. I'm banking that I have lost the weight. I don't want to disappoint myself, but I hope I'm close.
Anyway, this week is like every other week. Working out every morning and every evening. Maintaining my diet and just enjoying my new found energy.
