Hi Everyone,
Its been so long since my last posts. Actually, a few months, going on 3 months now. And I'm still doing well on my diet plan. I've lost a lot of weight since my last posts. I'm sticking to my diet more than ever before. In less than 3 weeks, I'll be in Florida and the following week afterwards, I'll be at my 20th high school reunion. I can't wait for either, b/c I've worked so hard to get to this point.
I have to admit; I haven't stuck with my workout routine like I was a few months ago. I have had so many distractions that I've allowed myself be lazy and I need to stop that. That's been my most difficult tasks in this process. But I've worked hard to curb my eating habits 100%. I don't eat fat anymore, so that's a huge accomplishment. Sugar has crept back into my diet, but only during my "time of the month" scenerio. So I've kept pop out of my diet for sure.
I've lost over 68 poounds and its moving slower than before. I know its b/c I haven't worked out steadily as before. So I'm committing myself to get back in my routine. I have a new man and its been hard to keep my routine b/c we're together all the time. He doesn't stop me from working out, that's all me. So I have to push myself a little hard to get back into it.
Well, I'm going to keep my posts updated for the next few weeks, b/c I have major milestones I'd like to share and I think it will help me see the changes for the next few weeks. Looking back will let me know that I've completed the things I wanted to accomplish since I opened this blog.

Week 18 Day 5
Its been a few weeks since my last entry. I've had such a rollercoaster ride recently and I thought it would derail my progress. But actually, it hasn't. I think with all the chaos that I've endured, it helped me fight harder to get this weight off. Yes, its been difficult but I lost now 48 lbs and lost a dress size/bra size. That feels amazing to me. I feel energized now. Before, I didn't want to share my weight, but I will today.
I started off at 330-335 lbs. I'm now at 282 lbs. It flucates when I'm on my "time of the month", but I lost another 3 lbs recently, so that's getting better. What's so crazy is that I can feel the difference. I'm so inspired to loose more weight. That's all I can focus on besides my new look on life.
Well, I'll do my best to continue to update my posts, but I've been distracted recently.
Hopefully, next week I can report another weight loss triumph.

Week 11 Day 2
Good Morning. This is week 11 and I'm excited because now I'm getting into the 3rd month of this new fitness.
Last week (week 10) was a long week and a very exciting one. I decided to try a cycling class or a spin class. Why in the hell did I decide to do that? I had some crazy idea that it would be easy and fun. Well it was fun but it was not easy. I think I broke my tail bone. The seat is made for small butt people. No one with an ounce of fat in their ass should sit on those seats. Yes, most of the time we did not sit down, but a majority of the time I did. Mainly b/c I couldn't keep up with the class. My knees are giving me problems and it was difficult for me to do many of the routines and keep the speed of the cycle. But I stayed throughout the whole of class. I did not give up or walk out.
I got my girlfriend to go with me. She did very well in the class. But we both agreed, the seats are for the birds. The instructor said it was b/c we need to build up our muscles in the rear. UM NO! My butt muscles are stronger than before. It was the seats- I tell ya.
So I guess we all know, I'm not going back that class. I enjoyed the class; good teacher and music, nice participants, but the seat took the cake.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to March 31st. I will do my measurements then and my weigh in. I'm hoping I lost another 12lbs. I'm banking that I have lost the weight. I don't want to disappoint myself, but I hope I'm close.
Anyway, this week is like every other week. Working out every morning and every evening. Maintaining my diet and just enjoying my new found energy.

Week 9 Day 3
Ok, I finally got my measurements completed - thanks to my co-worker/friend PJay. Here they are:
Waist: 54 inches
Hips: 59 1/2 inches
Chest: 56 inches
That's measuring after 9 weeks of weight loss. I know my starting waist was at 60 inches. So I lost some there.
I'll update again at the end of next month. I'm still debating about posting a BEFORE and AFTER picture. A little nervous about that one. I'll see in a few weeks if I can munster the strength to do it.

Week 9 Day 2
Ok, I've been sick for the last couple of days. Trying to get over a horrible chest cold that has forced me not to work out since Friday.
I'm feeling better and plan on going to the gym this week.
Also, I have my measurements now. I didn't want to post them- but I guess I should. I need to see them in writing otherwise I won't believe that I'm actually dropping inches.
When you're sick, its hard to concentrate on healthy food, when all you want is junk food to make you feel better. I haven't been able to eat any yogart in the morning, so I'm missing my routine.
Ok, new week and my goal is to loose 12 pounds in the next 6 weeks. I want to be under a specific number before April.

Week 8 Day 5
I've been sick for the past 2 days, so working out has been difficult because I'm having a hard time breathing. So Thursday and Friday evening I'm taking a break. However I'm resuming working out on Saturday. I can't have 2 days missed between workouts. That will deter me and I would make up excuses to never work out.
This weekend is measuring time. I bought a measuring tape and plan on getting this measurements right. I'm curious of the places that I lost inches.
One thing to remember, I always bring water with me. Water will fill you up faster than chips or food. It will nourish you until you can a reasonable meal ready to eat.
Ok, have a great weekend and look forward to sick free weekend.

Week 8 Day 4
I've decided to add work outs in the morning to my routine. LORD! does it kill me to add that extra time in the morning. But its worth it.
Only the hiccup is I'm coming down with a cold, so now I'm really dragging my butt to get motivated. Who wants to work out when you're coughing up a lung?
Here's some good news. I haven't weighed myself in weeks; I did this week. I've lost a total of 14 lbs since I began this journey. I'm so excited. I'm not going to check my weight again for the next few weeks again. I like the surprise of losing weight.
Tomorrow, I'm measuring myself. I want to see where I'm losing the weight.
So now I'm working out every other day in the morning and work out every evening.
Got to keep going- Spring is coming soon. Need to some changes before April.
Let's get it moving people- even when you're sick.
