Week 8 Day 1

I haven't wrote on this blog in days b/c of stress at work and my work out schedule. However, I have to say, I'm going pretty good. I'm on track; I work out daily now.

So here's my plan:

Work out in the evenings from 6:30 to 8pm.
Hit the trendmill for 45-55 minutes of walking and partial running. I can only maintain 5 minutes of jogging. I get winded quickly.

Then I hit the ellipitical machine for approximately 15 minutes. Each day I add 1 minute, so now I'm up to 30 minutes of non-stop cardio.

Believe me it hurts. I sweat so much, I feel like I'm going to pass out.

My calorie intake is maintained b/w 1500 and 1800 carlories. I have to keep it within this range or I would falter and eat everything in site.

No sweets or sweet drinks.

So doing well and enoying working out more and more.

This weekend we had a birthday/slumber party for my God-daughter's 8th B-day. A lot of temptation but no faltering. I took advantage of the fitness center in the hotel and worked out twice on Saturday and Sunday.

It was worth it. I have a lot of energy and like I said, I like working out now. Once I get past the first 20 minutes, then I'm good.

Now I bring my IPod with me. I have to b/c I get bored and start staring at the minutes left on the trendmill.

OK, another week of working hard and working out hard.
